BlaTina Career Exposure Programs

These programs are designed to provide valuable personal and career growth opportunities for Black and Latina girls through field trips, activities, and conversations with women who look like them.

Chess in the Park

Chess in the Park is held at Frank Young Park, which is across the street from Aspire House. Alongside Indy’s Inner-City Chess Club, we promote problem-solving, creative thinking, and mathematical abilities.

Health, Wellness, and Sport

Great communities and strong neighborhoods are healthy communities. The Aspire Higher Foundation is committed to offering instruction on good nutrition, exercise, and mind-body maintenance.

Sunday Supper

Aspire Higher Inc.

Aspire Higher Inc. is a progressive team of innovators working in community redevelopment and expansion spaces. We are joined to restore properties throughout the Near Northwest Neighborhood.

Urban Bloom

Urban Bloom is the vision to see our community gardens flourish with homegrown, accessible vegetables. Artwork will be displayed through recycled mediums, such as shipping containers, water barrels, and bicycles, representing the rich diversity and beauty in the Near Northwest Neighborhood.

Harmony Bloom

Harmony Bloom is a walking and gardening club program dedicated to the residents (50+) of the Near Northwest Neighborhood. It offers a range of physical, social, and emotional benefits that contribute to their overall well-being and quality of life.

Urban Nights

Creative placemaking offers classes for all, where community members, artists, arts and culture organizations, community developers, and other stakeholders use arts and cultural strategies to implement community-led change.
