We are committed to empowering girls in Northwest Indianapolis through transformative career exposure programs.

We collaborate with educators, universities, and local businesses to open doors for our BlaTinas, inspiring them to reach for their dreams and embrace limitless opportunities.

Through our career exposure programs, girls will walk away with a solid understanding of multiple careers and confidence in their futures. We want our students to accomplish anything they put their minds to.

Varsity Posse

The 2024-2025 Varsity Posse cohort focused on exploring STEM career opportunities at local colleges and technology institutes across Indiana and Illinois. The BlaTinas toured Indiana University Bloomington, the Illinois Institute of Technology, and Purdue University.

Varsity Posse

During this semester-long program, our BlaTinas explored careers in innovation and technology. The highlight of the Varsity Posse program was a week-long trip to San Francisco in May 2024. We visited several tech companies and universities, including Gusto, Bloomberg, Santa Clara University, UC Berkeley, and Stanford University.

Girls Run the Game

In June 2023, Global Preparatory Academy middle school girls joined us to explore exciting career opportunities in sports, gaining valuable insights from influential women in the industry. We visited several prominent organizations, including the NCAA, Indianapolis Indians, Indianapolis Colts, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Design Development Pipeline

From August 2022 – February 2024, we partnered with RATIO and Next Great Architects to teach 5th and 6th-grade girls the fundamentals of architecture. Exciting visits to Business Furniture and ESL Spectrum, along with hands-on computer software and crafting projects, opened their eyes to the art of design.

BlaTina 1.0

Brainstorm

Our inaugural BlaTina program launched in June 2022, empowering middle school girls from Global Preparatory Academy to explore careers and college pathways in energy and aviation fields. Inspiring trips to local universities, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Infrastructure Energy Alternatives (IEA), Allegion, Republic Airways, and Lift Academy opened their eyes to a world of possibilities.
